Books behind? Get them to your accountant before the Form 11 deadline
The 2025 Form 11 is due on 31 October 2026, or 18 November if you pay and file on ROS. If your books are not ready, we bring them up to date in your own software and hand them to your accountant — on a fixed quote, agreed after we see what you have.

The dates
Two dates, and which one is yours
- 31 October 2026
- The date for 2025 Form 11 returns and payments.
- 18 November 2026
- The extended date — but only if you both pay and file through ROS. Do one of the two any other way and 31 October applies.
Your accountant needs the books before either date, not on it. Ask them how much time they need, and work back from there.

What to gather
What we need from you
- Bank and card statements for the year, for every account the business uses
- The sales invoices you issued
- Receipts and bills — a box, a folder or photos on your phone are all fine
- If you are a subcontractor, the payments from main contractors and the RCT deducted from them
- Access to your Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, if you have it
What it costs
A fixed quote, before we start
Every backlog is different, so we look at it before we price it. The quote is fixed once agreed. It depends on:
- — How many months are behind
- — How many bank and card accounts, and how many lines on them
- — How complete the receipts and invoices are
- — Whether there is software to work in, or we are starting from statements
How it works
From a box of receipts to books your accountant can use
- 1
You show us what you have
Statements, receipts, invoices, and access to your software if there is one. However it is kept.
- 2
We quote before we start
We look at the backlog and give you a fixed price and a realistic date. If it cannot be done properly before your deadline, we say so then.
- 3
We bring the year up to date
Every bank line reconciled and matched to its invoice or receipt. Anything we cannot identify goes on a short list for you, not a guess in the books.
- 4
Your accountant gets the books
Reconciled, with a note of anything unusual, ready for them to prepare and file your return.
Stays with your accountant
What we do not do
We do not file your Form 11, work out the tax you owe, or advise on what to claim. Your accountant does all of that, from books that are already done.
Not here again next October
Once the year is caught up, we can keep the books up to date every month from €250 a month, so your accountant gets them clean every time.
Questions
What people ask first
- Can you get my books done before 18 November?
- It depends on how far behind they are and what you have, which is why we look before we quote. We will tell you on the first call whether it is realistic — and if it is not, we say so rather than take the job.
- Do you file my Form 11?
- No. We prepare the books; your accountant prepares and files the return and works out the tax. We do not file anything with Revenue.
- I have no accounting software. Can you still do it?
- Yes — we can work from bank statements and receipts. Tell us on the call and we will go through what makes most sense for you and your accountant.
- Some receipts are missing. Is that a problem?
- Not for us to start. Anything we cannot match goes on a list for you, so you and your accountant decide what to do about it rather than finding out at the last minute.
- What happens after the catch-up?
- Nothing, if you want nothing. If you would rather not be here again next October, we can keep the books up to date every month from then on.
